Peer Pressure...Schools worst subject...

Peer pressure huh, you always hear about it, you never think you see it. Has anybody ever asked you "if" you wanted a cigarette? Has anyone ever tried to see "if" you wanted a beer? If you're like thousands of kids in Oklahoma you probably have had a run in with alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, or all the other junk out there. Well, the word "if" is a powerful way to test your boundaries from other students or adults. People around you may not every directly ask you to do or take drugs, but they are there, testing your every strength! If you stand your ground people will respect you more than you know. A strong sense of will power can be the best defense when you're asking yourself what to do in a situation where there's drugs, alcohol, and/or tobacco...

Another good way to get out of peer pressure is to keep busy after school and during the summer time. Join a book club at the library, it's more fun that it sounds. Hit the pool this summer, hang with friends you know
